The Speakers and Panelist

The 2025 Colloquium on Art, Legacy & Preservation will be open with a Welcome Address by Dr. Okey Anueyiagu, President of the Society for Art Collection, a distinguished Nigerian art collector, philanthropist and scholar with over three decades of global impact in art promotion, political thought and social advocacy. He is the founder of the Okey Anueyiagu Foundation and CEO of Brown Brommel Ltd.

Mr. Femi Akinsanya, renowned Nigerian art collector and investment banker, founder of the Femi Akinsanya Art Collection (FAAC), one of Africa’s most significant private collections of traditional and contemporary art will deliver a Keynote Address, setting the tone for a thought-provoking and impactful session.
The panel discussion will feature an exceptional lineup of experts:
- Professor Fabian Ajogwu, OFR, SAN – Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Senior Partner at Kenna Partners, Co-Founder of the Society for Art Collection and Nigeria’s first Professor of Corporate Governance.
- Mrs. Nkechi Adedeji- Deputy Director and Curator, National Museum, Lagos
- Mr. Shola Tinubu – Board Director at SCIB Nigeria & Co. Ltd; leading insurance expert and past President of NCRIB, recognised for driving innovation and ethical standards in Nigeria’s insurance sector.
- Dr. Dakuku Peterside – Chairman of PENHALL Consult; Nigeria’s foremost public sector turnaround expert.
